The only Macedonian heart surgeon Zan Mitrev, after setting up a heart surgery department at Skopje's Military Hospital, is planning to leave the country because the Health Ministry failed to pay the expenses.

The Republic of China-Taiwan donated $5.0 million to the Macedonian Interior Ministry for purchasing a helicopter.

Montenegrin parliament speaker Svetozar Markovic and his Macedonian counterpart Savo Klimovski discussed in Ohrid ways of strengthening cooperation between the two parliaments.

Macedonian Privatization Agency has yet to select an auditor for the Kavadarci based nickel plant FENI. Unless the workers receive their monthly salaries by Wednesday, they plan to block the main road between Prilep and Gradsko.
