Six injured in grenade blast in Sarajevo cafe

SARAJEVO, Jan 31, 2000 -- (AFP) Six people were injured when a hand grenade exploded in a Sarajevo cafe on Sunday evening, police told AFP on Monday.

The explosion occurred when an unknown individual threw the grenade into the cafe in the Grbavica district at 10:00 p.m. Sunday, a spokesman for Sarajevo police said.

Six Bosnian Muslims, aged between 25 and 36, were injured in the explosion, three seriously, the spokesman said.
