ELBASAN - The railway station in this central Albanian city, which saw the busiest days when Kosovo Albanian refugees were transported there from northern Albania, will be rebuilt through an UNHCR fund that targets the rehabilitation of refugee-affected areas in the country.
Arianit Cela, its director, told ATA that Lek4.7m will go towards the rehabilitation of the station, and will be managed by a French non-governmental organization, Med-Air.
The station covers 25 percent of the work volume of Albanias railways.
UNHCR will also rebuild the stations at Perrenjas, Librazhd, Peqin and Pogradec.
