Mine blast wounds two Russian KFOR servicemen
BELGRADE, December 30 (Itar-Tass) - Two Russian servicemen from the Kosovo international force were wounded by a mine blast, a KFOR spokesman reported on Thursday.
The incident took place on Wednesday morning near the city of Kosovska-Kamenica, situated in the American sector of responsibility. An armoured personnel carrier of the Russian military contingent hit a mine while on a patrolling mission.
One serviceman was wounded in the head, while the second was slightly injured. The wounded were brought to a military hospital in an American military base.
