PRAGUE, Dec 29, 1999 -- (Reuters) Thirteen metric tons of explosives were seized and 15 people arrested Tuesday in the Macedonian town of Tabanovce near the Yugoslav border, the pro-government newspaper Nova Makedonija reported Wednesday.http://www.centraleurope.com/news.php3?id=121694
The explosives came from a factory at Samakov, eastern Macedonia, and were en route to Yugoslavia.
Eight Yugoslavs and seven Macedonians were detained.
The haul was estimated to be worth around $200,000 its current state and up to $2 million after processing, the paper said.
